the best digital camera for the money
Some Digital fans want to get a new 10 megapixels and 10x optical zoom digital camera and just wonder between the Canon and Fuji, would you give any comment on this topic “the best digital camera for the money”
What is the best digital camera for the money?—By Aaron
I’d specifically like a Canon, because I’ve always been pleased with the picture quality and the overall ease of use, or a Fuji, because I’ve been told they are made by the same company, but I’m up for suggestions on other brands. I would really like something with at least 10 megapixels and 10x optical zoom. Any suggestions?

Since you mention optical zoom, that means you don’t want a DSLR. So you either want a compact or bridge/superzoom camera.
My sense is that you may not be ready for a DSLR just yet. An excellent digial superzoom to consider is the Canon SX10 IS. It is the #1 rated camera of the superzoom breed right now.
Size wise it is slightly bigger than a typical compact P&S, but definitely smaller than the low-end DSLRs. It’s great because it allows you to take auto, semi-auto or full manual shots (so you can learn before you decide whether to move up to a DSLR). Plus it’s got one of the longest optical zooms on the mkt. And, not least, it’s affordable!

The best? EOS-1Ds Mark III. It’s only $7000.
