The SX100 can be controlled from your Mac or PC over a USB connection, using the RemoteCapture Task build into the Browser software. You can operate nearly all of the camera’s features from your PC, and when you take a photo, the image is saved onto your hard drive. An interval (time lapse) mode is available here as well.
Combined with such other Sony innovations as face detection, image stabilization and a high sensitivity (ISO 3200) the T70 and T200 models are nearly foolproof.

The Digimax NV20 is a bit different to most digital cameras. This is true in terms of looks and also the way in which the camera’s menu system works.
With its well-sculpted, rubberised grip and another nicely contoured and rubberised area for your thumb, the S8000fd is more comfortable to hold than some megazooms.
Where the DMC LZ7 is different from many digital cameras is that it offers the extra zoom power while remaining an easy to use, point and shoot digital camera.
the LZ7 includes Intelligent Image Stabilization, a new feature that incorporates Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and Intelligent ISO Control that adjusts ISO for subject movement in low light conditions.

I bought this camera because the specs listed @ 85% of what I want in an *instant* camera. I need to be able to whip it out and take pictures, and I’d like to be able to give it to my wife and just say “here”. For the price, the 7.1 megapixel rating is good, the zoom is good, and the availability of cards and batteries are excellent. BTW, my previous pocket sized “point and shoot” cameras have been a Nikon EM and a Zeiss Nettar; I needed something I could have “instant” pictures with.

We have had the camera for about a week and are really enjoying it. The large 3″ screen is awsome. I have taken quite a few macro close up pictures and they are clear. At the maximun magnification the pictures using the scenery mode are clear without blurring from camera motion. The motion picture feature at 30 fps is smooth and fun to work with.
I have not been able to find a spare battery or charger yet. Before I take it on a long trip, I would like to carry a spare battery.
