Sony has fixed a few small items with the A-700. Battery meter is now there to see power levels. The ISO Wheel is gone, in favor of a drop down menu. Screen is larger for review. Ergonomic grip is improved. 12.2 MP is better for close cropping. I find the camera a little easier to use than the A-100. More information to see on the screen prior to shooting. I am not sure the body is worth another $900 mare than the A-100
