Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ30 or Canon Powershot S5IS?—AGK
Which is your pick? They have very similar specs but I must say I like the manual zoom wheel on the FZ30, it gives it an SLR feel and it’s very useful. Also the FZ30 can shoot in RAW (Not very important if you don’t do much post processing but still nice to have). Continue Reading »

(I already know that this thing is outdated and that I can buy a photo printer that uses ink. What I want to know is if I can still buy film for my P-500ir.)

Canon SD1000 or the Canon SD750?—reefmonk…
I just purchased the SD750, and the place could not fill my order. I’m waiting until tomorrow to see if the truck has one on it.
So since I have the added time to research, I’m hoping to find some users of these cameras and their opinions of them. I’m not interested in a copy and paste review deal. I know one of the main drawbacks on the 750 is the viewfinder not having one. Other than that, what do to think? Which one should I go with?
Which one will take crisper and clear pictures? This is real important. I am not interested in noisy pictures. Also, cycle to next photo … what do you think? THANKS!!
