Why can’t I get my aperture below 5.6??? (EOS 350D)?—by Z-Man

I was trying to get my aperture adjusted with the M mode and I noticed I can ONLY increase it and decrease it above 5.6, sometimes 5.0 and sometimes it gets down to 4.0 but that’s it…
