It’s a capable camera, allowing images to be captured in RAW format and its 12.1 megapixels are certainly more than adequate. It allows ISO to be changed from a dial on the top and its retro look is sort of cool- like a rangefinder. One knock on it is that the LCD screen doesn’t rotate as the older G series cameras do. It is a great, but pricey camera for those times when it is inconvenient to take a dSLR. It is also compatible with the very capable Canon external flashes, though the combination of an external flash and smaller camera body is a bit awkward.
