Pentax K20D Review @ thinkcamera
271 Views Category: Digital Camera ReviewsThe Pentax K20D is at the forefront of Pentax’s existing DSLR range, benefiting from collaborative efforts with Samsung to develop the 14.6megapixel sensor (as found in the Samsung GX-20 DSLR) at the core of the system.

thinkcamera reviewed the Pentax K20D and gave out”the Pentax K20D is a decent camera with enough features to keep top-end enthusiasts, travel photographers and possibly even some pros happy. It’s not the 14.6megapixel sensor that makes this the camera what it is, that almost doesn’t matter - it’s the combination of intuitive layout, functions and relative ease of use. Whether it will do well in the market is a different matter - but there’s no reason to shun Pentax on the basis of brand name, given that the K20D will give any other top manufacturers’ products a good run for their money.”

Witch is better the pentax k20d or the nickon d300?
The K20D.
Extremely well-sealed against water and dust.
Image Stabilization in the camera body. No reason to pay for it with every lens you buy.
Uses every K-mount AF lens made with full functionality. No reason to pay for AF with every lens you buy.
Uses every K-mount manual focus lens made since 1975. Yes, there are some limitations but they’ll have the benefit of in-camera stabilization. You can even buy an adapter to use the older Pentax screw-mount lenses.
What’s wrong with the 14mp APS Pentax K20d?
Nothing. Pentax has made excellent cameras for decades. Their glass is second to none. Those who insist that Nikon or Canon are the only answers are psychologically unable to evaluate equipment on their own and only purchase what they are told by their friends or media what to purchase.
No responsible manufacturer can afford to put second quality goods on the market today - rumors fly too fast.
