The Panasonic Lumix DMC-LZ6 is a 7.2 megapixel digital camera with a 6x optical zoom lens.
The LZ6 is fairly much identical to the LZ7 except for it’s 2.0 inch LCD (.5 of an inch smaller than the LZ7).
The Panasonic Lumix DMC-LZ6 also features image stabilization (optical and ISO).
TheLZ6 will have a retail price of $179.95 when it hits stores in February.

I got the camera right before my trip to Europe. Camera is compact and powerful. The only complaint - it does not have simple viewfinder, which could help during sunny days. Battery life with oxides is acceptable, but not as long as listed in the manual. We are talking about 1/3 of the listed number of pictures. But the convenience - just buy
batteries at the any news stand and recycle the old set. Also, I had to buy a simple belt pouch to keep camera handy, but may be it is just my habit to keep things on the belt (ebay, 9.98, s/h included). You need also SD memory. 2 gigs is more then you can wish. Also you could need `charger’ just to view and maintain taken pictures without draining the batteries. I could use another camera with rechargeable battery for this. Now I am glad I have bought 2″ display, but not 2.4. I save battery life and it is better during sunny days. I could compare with another Panasonic camera. THX
