in the line comes the 10-megapixel Stylus 1010. It doesn’t boast the 1020’s continuous shooting with flash, and has a 2.7-inch HyperCrystal LCD instead of the newer HyperCrystal II, but other than that it has all the same features as the 1020.

cnet Reviewed the Olympus Stylus 1010 and gave out”they all include in-camera panoramic stitching of up to three images. If you’re willing to wait to stitch, the Olympus Master software that comes with the cameras allows panoramas of up to ten images. Olympus plans to start shipping the Stylus 840 to stores this month where you should be able to buy it for about $250 in a choice of silver, blue, black, and pink finishes.”

Where to buy Olympus Stylus 1010 or 1020?
I have been looking since it was released and can’t find anywhere to buy the new Olympus Stylus 1010 or 1020. Was wondering if anyone knew where to get it in Canada?

    Olympus Stylus 1020?
I was thinking about getting the new olympus stylus 1020 but I’m not sure is it’s all that good or where to get it? I live in Canada does anyone know where they’re sold?

I had a chance to play with the Olympus 1020 at Camera Land in New York City. I was amazed by the panorama feature that automatically shoots and stitches the shots.

I was also told that it has a better quality LCD than the 1010. The new version (Hypercrystal 2) is much clearer in sunlight. Joel at Camera Land told me the 1020 will also come with a case and a 2 year warranty. I pre-ordered mine - it should be here in the next two weeks.

I read a number of online reviews and they all seem very positive. dp-review loved it.

I’m sure you can order one from Camera Land. I also did a G*ogle search and found a few other sources. Good luck!
