Minolta Manual Lens compatibility with a Sony DSLR A100? I’ve heard they are but my lenses may be too old…
…since they dont fit… The lenses seem to small for the base…I have a 70-210mm I’d like to still use and a macro. Any guesses as what adapter might work?—4thtenne…

The easiest would be to take your lenses into a camera store that sells the Sony DSLR and have the people there check for you. Then you will know for sure.

Minolta offered 2 teleconverters to allow use of the older manual focus MC/MD lenses like yours on the Maxxum and now on the Sony Alpha series cameras.

AF 2X M/A-S : For manual focus lenses shorter than 300mm

AF 2X M/A-L : For manual focus lenses longer than 300mm
