Kodak Easy Share upload pics unorder

I have a Kodak Easy Share and when I try to upload my pics from memory card, they do not upload in order. They are all mixed up and I am spending half of the day trying to get them back in order. How can I get them to upload in the order I take them? I only upload once a week. And I take lots of pictures.

Ask your computer to sort the files alphabetically for you. If you’re in Windows, go through the menus, VIEW >> ARRANGE ICONS BY >> NAME.In the event that your camera did not name the files in order, try a software called Namexif. It will read the embedded EXIF information off the file and name it according to the date so it sorts properly. All modern cameras embed date (and other info) into EXIF data as part of the file. This information is kept in the file regardless of what you change the file name (or what silly filename) the camera makes.
