How to get a fisheye effect with my Sony Cyber-Shot camera?—rebecca

I have a Sony DSC-W50 Cyber-Show Digital camera and am looking to attach a FISHEYE converter lens to it by use of a VAD-WB 30mm Lens Adaptor that can be purchased on sony.com however I can’t seem to find a FISHEYE lens for this purpose. Any ideas of where to purchase one for my digital camera - NOT a digital camcorder.

If you want a really cheap fisheye effect…

Go to your local hardware store and get a peepsite viewer - you know the little dealy that lets you look through a door to see whose on the other side.

Hold this gizmo up to your camera lens and shoot through it.

I went to Home Depot locally and they only had the narrow kind of viewer… Ace Hardware had the larger kind.

$14.99 for a near fisheye lens aint too bad!

Also… a program like PhotoImpact has an effect (punch) that you can add to pictures after the fact to get the same end result. I’m sure Photoshop Elements has the same…
