What extra lenses should I get for a Canon A640?—Steve M

I love my 10 megapixel Canon, I’ve bought a tripod for it, and now I am looking for maybe a telephoto lens. What brand is really good, yet affordable?

Stick with the canon lenses. The really good glass will cost you thousands but you can get a decent lense for a couple hundred. When I first started I bought their 75-300 lense and loved it. Now I have the same lense but with better glass and IS. I bought the first one for less than 200. It is a nice lense to have just be sure to use a tripod or monopod when using it to get tack sharp pictures.
