EXILIM Pro EX-F1, with the world’s fastest* burst shooting performance
This model incorporates a high speed CMOS sensor and a high speed LSI processor.

With this model, Casio has achieved an ultra-high speed 60 frames per second (fps) burst rate for still images, together with 1,200 fps high speed movie recording that captures movement faster than the eye can see for ultra-slow motion replay. Moreover, the new model can record movies at full High-Definition
Casio EXILIM Pro EX-F1 Professional Reviews:
- laptopmag reviewed the Casio EXILIM Pro EX-F1 and gave out”The Casio EX-F1 is unlike any camera you’ve seen. It’s impressive—often addictive—but it’s not for everyone. Photography purists are better off with a DSLR, and people less prone to shooting fast-moving subjects can get away with buying a point-and-shoot for a third of the price. But DSLRs can’t shoot video of any kind, let alone full HD and slow motion, and no point-and-shoot can match the EX-F1’s rate of 60 shots per second. If you love photo and film equally, or have a penchant for challenging action photography, the $999 EX-F1 is worth the splurge.”
- infosyncworld reviewed the Casio EXILIM Pro EX-F1 and gave out”We can imagine a new category for high-speed cameras, and a frames-per-second war ensuing, but mostly, we see the EX-F1 as a demonstration of features that will eventually trickle their way down. Perhaps our point-and-shoot cameras won’t have 1200fps video recording, but maybe 300fps would offer some cool capabilities. And certainly we can do better than 3.5fps on our DSLR. “
- digitalcamerainfo reviewed the Casio EXILIM Pro EX-F1 and gave out”The EX-F1 comes in a surprisingly sturdy body and has solid components; Casio didn’t take shortcuts on this camera. It has a hot shoe and external microphone jack, proving it is a serious contender in the hybrid category. The Casio Exilim Pro EX-F1 comes at a $999 price and will be available in late spring 2008. It is still in development and we look forward to seeing more functionality in a few weeks at the Photo Marketing Association Trade Show in late January 2008. Stay tuned for more on the EX-F1.

The Casio Exilim Pro EX-F1 is a High Speed Camera, what other cameras have the same features I want to compare
The Casio Exilim Pro EX-F1 can take high speed pictures up to 60 Frames Per Second in a 6 megapixels photo. I want to see who else is competing in that market.
my suggestion
go to yahoo shopping

digital camera GUIDE
be sure to check titles on the left side
the guide should answer your questions
What do you think about new high-speed Casio EX-F1 with CMOS sensor?
In my opinion, Casio can make much more interesting SLR-like camera than Canon S5 IS or Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ3. What is more, the Casio EXILIM Pro EX-F1 is a right choice for those, who need fast digital camera for pets, kids and sport shooting. Moreover, this gadget is not bad for those, who do not want to busy oneself with huge SLR cameras and swapping lenses. For more look through: http://fototramp.blogspot.com/2008/02/ca… There is just one trouble: the Casio EX-F1 costs much more than the Canon S5 IS or even great Fujifilm S9600. However, I hope that declared price about $1000 should be reduced. Or else this gadget cannot be attractive for consumers.
you probably meant the Panasonic FZ18. the Tz3 is a compact camera.. anyhoo, I do agree that it’s a pretty sweet camera. 6.6 MP isn’t that high, but the 60 shots/second burst mode is a great feature. It seems almost like a mediocre video camera also with the external mic jack and great video resolution. I’d really have to see some of the images to decide whether it’s better than the canon S5 IS, Sony H9, etc. The true test would be in low light and the images at higher ISO’s. Oh yea, it’s way overpriced at 1000 dollars.
