You can operate nearly all of the camera’s features from your PC, and when you take a photo, the image is saved onto your hard drive. An interval (time lapse) mode is available here as well.

It’s not as impressive as its big brother, the PowerShot S5, but the SX100 costs quite a bit less. As semi-compact, entry-level ultra zooms go, the SX100 is a good one, and definitely worth a look.”
