Looking for best compact digital camera for taking video with sound?—Proud Navy Wife

I am looking for a digital camera that has capability of taking video with sound. It needs to take SD memory cards. I want something compact or ultracompact so it will easily fit in my purse. Something under $300. Personal experiences would be really appeciated. Thanks!

well i got the Kodak M883, it is about 180$ it is an 8MP and 3X optical zoom…. it comes in black red and silver i have had it for about 3 months and i love it. i bought it at bestbuy. it also has sound and uses SD cards ohh and realy small
