the Panasonic DMC-L10 represents poor value for money, even factoring the snazzy swivel screen into the mix. It makes a lot more sense at its discounted price (often somewhere between £650-£700), but even here the camera struggles to remain a rival.
the i7 is a handy (but not a good quality) gadget for anyone who wants a portable video and MP3 player that can also take and store happy snaps while on the run.
The SX100 can be controlled from your Mac or PC over a USB connection, using the RemoteCapture Task build into the Browser software. You can operate nearly all of the camera’s features from your PC, and when you take a photo, the image is saved onto your hard drive. An interval (time lapse) mode is available here as well.
Combined with such other Sony innovations as face detection, image stabilization and a high sensitivity (ISO 3200) the T70 and T200 models are nearly foolproof.
