This is my 4th Sony Camera, and the best. I still own a W-5 and a W-7 both of which are very good cameras. I wanted a smaller camera, so last year I bought a Sony N-2. I didn’t like it. Because of its small size, I had trouble holding it steady. It didn’t have Steady Shot. Sold it on E-Bay! This camera solves the problem plus is easier to use and has more features. I Love It!

The large lcd screen has been helpful. I can also zoom in all directions to see a picture after I take it. I’m still trying to learn what settings to use in various situations, but all in all it has been an easy camera to learn to use.

Canon 40D for one handed use mostly.?—Angela…
I have wanted a Canon 40D since I found it online a month ago. The problem is I have trouble using my left hand due to an accident a couple years ago. Any advice? Any equipment. I am mobile and can get around easily. Are chestpods easy to move with. I want to get into the thick of things and take a photo when the moment strikes. Is it possible with the use of a chestpod or other aid. Thank you so much.

Images:
PROS
-takes great images for the web. Automatically saves in sRGB jpeg mode.
-Still can’t get over how beautiful and functional it looks, everyone has admired it
- awesome that it charges through USB port. Less wires.
-macro features works pretty well if held completely still
-special effects features are pretty fun to use and cuts out the “middle man” like photoshop
-has a manual feature but can only chose from two different apertures

I’ve only had this camera for a day, but I thought I’d post an early review since there are none up yet. I was reluctant to buy this camera because it is SO new, and I generally prefer to wait for reviews to be in, but the 560 had so many interesting features I decided to give it a try. So far I’m glad I did. I’ve only been taking trial snapshots around my house to become famliar with the camera, but they’re all coming out beautifully; very sharp, rich colors, no visible noise. Even low-light and high-zoom shots have been surprisingly good. The pre-programmed settings and other features (of which there are many, you should check the porfessional reviews to see them all) are really useful and I think some of them are unique to this camera right now.
