Olympus FE-250 Review By DigitalCameraReview
The FE-250 is the latest FE model that I’ve reviewed, and it’s the most expensive. It sets itself apart from the slightly cheaper FE-240 by adding a megapixel of capture resolution and by having a slightly higher resolution LCD.

DigitalCameraReview Reviewed the Olympus FE-250 and gave out”The FE-250 is the best performing model in the current FE lineup. While its image quality results are similar to the other models, it has the best overall operation speed. In particular, card access times are much better than its siblings. Otherwise, the FE-250 still has the slim, well-constructed metal body of the other FE cameras and all of the features that make it very usable for entry level users, like the built-in Guide system and plenty of on-screen help and descriptions.

Olympus Stylus 770 SW review By pocket-lint
the 770 boosts the rugged good looks of the 725 but with increased waterproofing to 10-metres (that’s over 30 feet), which interestingly is the recreational dive limit.

Olympus Stylus 770 SW was reviewed By Pocket-lint and said”Picture quality is good at the Super High Quality and at lower ISO settings. Ease of use (under “normal

Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ8 Review by cameras.co.uk
Panasonic have included manual exposure and focusing controls with the DMC FZ8. This means that the camera is well suited to someone who is looking for a camera that is a clear step up from a typical point and shoot model.

Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ8 was Reviewed by cameras.co.uk and gave out “
When looking at the picture quality, price and features of the Panasonic DMC LZ8 I would say it offers very good value for money. There are more expensive super zoom digital cameras, but there is not that much that sets them apart from this one”

Olympus FE-240 Review By DigitalCameraReview
This one distinguishes itself from it’s cheaper sibling, the FE-230, by adding a 5x optical zoom. The FE-240 also has a 2.5 inch LCD. The Olympus FE line is well-suited to entry level digital photographers, with well-built cameras and plenty of easy to use features, like a built-in Guide system.

Olympus FE-240 was Reviewed By DigitalCameraReview and said”
If you have your eye on a new Olympus FE model and have a bit more to spend than you would on the FE-230, I would point you towards the FE-240, with its 5x optical zoom. They’re essentially identical cameras, except for the lens. While camera speed is not amazing and LCD is not always great outdoors, the camera takes solid, pleasing images. If you’re also looking for an affordable, slim camera with a 5x optical zoom, the FE-240 also fits the bill…..

Nikon D40x Review By CNET
Nikon has introduced the D40x, which is nearly identical to the D40, but includes a 10.2-megapixel CCD sensor. Of course that means you now have to choose between saving some money, and possibly buying another lens or accessory, and getting more megapixels

CNET Reviewed the Nikon D40x and gave out”The good: Comfortable, compact body design; very low noise at higher ISOs; highly customizable menus; 10.2-megapixel CCD sensor. The bad: Slow kit lenses; RAW editing software costs extra; controls can be awkward; occasionally slow to focus; no automatic sensor cleaning; RAW-plus-JPEG mode limited to basic instead of fine JPEG compression. The bottom line: The Nikon D40x makes a very nice first dSLR, though experienced SLR shooters looking for a Nikon should spend the extra cash for the D80. “

Samsung S730 Review By TrustedReviews
There are some genuine bargains, but they are heavily outnumbered by very poor quality cameras, usually from no-name brands, and choosing between the two is something of a nightmare unless you really know what you’re looking at. Even when you do know it can be difficult to tell the difference.

TrustedReviews reviewed the Samsung S730 and they write, “When used in good light and at low ISO settings, the Samsung S730 is a decent snapshot camera with good handling and performance, and a wider range of features than many budget compacts, but its very poor low light focusing means it will be of limited use in many social occasions. Build quality could also be better, but all in all not bad value for money.”

Samsung’s user-friendly point-and-shoot S730 digital camera represents the next generation of Samsung’s most popular point-and-shoot digital still camera products. Olympus SP-550 UZ Review by Photoxels
This camera is packed with features that should appeal to the serious amateur photographer. It sports a new DSLR-look, has excellent build and construction, and very good handling.

Photoxels Reviewed the Olympus SP-550 UZ and gave out “the Olympus SP-550 UZ is a well designed and very good ultra zoom digital camera, is enjoyable to use, and the 18x wide-angle optical zoom blows past all its ultra zoom competitors. If you must have that much zoom power (and the wonderful wide-angle), no other ultra zoom can match it. Just don’t expect to be able to track and follow fast moving action at that long focal length. The SP-550 UZ is full-featured but it might take a knowledgeable photographer (or a beginner willing to learn) to make the most out of it. ”
