Whats the best digital camera for less than $220—Aran

Whats the best digital camera for less than $220? Today I purchased the Samsung S850, which is 8.1 megapixels. But even with the 8.1 megapixels it is blurry a lot of the times, and the only setting that its decent on is the auto. The shake resistor or whatever is pretty much useless. I need a good camera that has image stability and and does not produce blurry pictures, rather nice quality pictures. I was thinking about getting a canon but I am not sure…please help me out :p

What is the best digital SLR for a beginner?—Emily F

I also want a lens that can shoot at a pretty good distance, so a kit with 2 lenses would be ideal. I was thinking mayber Olympus Evolt or Nikon D40. I would like to keep it below $800

Fujifilm FinePix S700 Review By GoodGearGuide

The FinePix S5700 is a decent but uninspiring advanced digital camera. While it will do most of what you want, it is let down by average image quality.

Fujifilm FinePix S700

GoodGearGuide reviewed the Fujifilm FinePix S700 and they gave out “The S5700 has a fairly standard design for an advanced model. It is chunky and angular with a black plastic casing that isn’t as sturdy as we’d like. Ultra zoom models never tend to look attractive as they have the zoom lens jutting from the front and typically accompany that with a rugged leather grip. The S5700 certainly won’t win any awards for style, but it manages to stick fairly closely to this aesthetic.”

Pentax Optio T30 Review By PhotographyReview

The Pentax Optio T30 digital camera pushes the limits of point-and-shoots with its touch screen technology. Like a PDA, you access camera functions and menus by tapping the LCD screen.

Pentax Optio T30

PhotographyReview the Pentax Optio T30 digital camera and Gave out “The Pentax Optio T30 is leading the way for point-and-shoot digital camera design. With some minor improvements to the camera and some image quality improvement the Optio T30 could be the camera all others will be measured against. And the price is great, too! Similar quality (image-wise) cameras run $100 more and they don’t have the whiz-bang touch screen. This one is going on my short list of must buy point-and-shoots.”

Canon EOS-1D Mark III Rreview By LuminousLandscape

Announced at the PMA show in early March, 2007, the MKIII was to become available in late April or early May. Instead it now looks as if delivery will start in June. In late April I received a MKIII for testing that was described as pre-production, though close to final.

Canon EOS-1D Mark III was Previewed By LuminousLandscape and said”
Now in its third generation, (fifth if you include the “s” models) Canon’s flagship 1 Series cameras need little introduction to professional and advanced amateur photographers. The new Canon 1D MKIII might easily be seen as a refresh to the model line, but this is not so. Though it looks much like any of the previous models it is in fact an almost complete rethink on the part of Canon of what a pro-level digital camera should be like.

Canon PowerShot SD1000 Review By ImagingResource

Canon returned the ELPH to its roots shortly after the ELPH’s tenth anniversary with the introduction of the SD1000, a camera whose retro look is almost identical to that of the original model.

Canon PowerShot SD1000

Canon PowerShot SD1000 was Reviewed By ImagingResource and said”Regardless of experience level, most everyone will find image quality more than satisfying, although it’s important to maintain control over ISO settings to keep image noise to a minimum. That some features are buried deep within the menu system probably won’t bother snapshooters very much, since it’s unlikely they’ll use them on a regular basis. It will be frustrating to photographers who want to wring every last bit of control out of the camera. But if you’re as big of an ELPH fan as I am, you won’t let any of those minor drawbacks dissuade you from slipping a Canon SD1000 into your pocket or purse……
